In Da Nang Vietnam 26 year old American Jim Trullinger runs a youth hostel for 50 children aligned with the Agency for International Development. He started after arriving in 1969 and expanded his work with local Vietnamese aid, helping orphaned and hungry youth. He co-founded Shoeshine Boys Foundation Inc with Richard Hughes to fund the hostels in Da Nang and Saigon.
