Burkittsville Post Office Gets New 144-Box Mail Facility
Betty Brown, longtime Burkittsville postmistress, oversees the remodeling of the Burkittsville post office. A 144 separate box facility replaces old glass-faced mailboxes in the rear, while the old unit is kept as a keepsake.
