Tass reports the Soviet Union launched Soyuz 21 with Col. Boris Volynov and Vitali Zholobov to perform joint experiments with Salyut 5. Libyan hijacker surrenders in Palma de Mallorca
A Libyan airliner hijacked in Libya landed in Palma de Majorca with 86 aboard. The hijacker surrendered to airport police and turned over two pistols and two knives.
