Henry Slagle of Lisbon Howard county aged 86 was fatally injured stepping in front of a Buick sedan driven by Marie F. March of Baltimore Tuesday at about 7 am on the State road. An inquest jury exonerated March, noting Slagle was very deaf and had been warned repeatedly not to cross alone.

Autoist Fined 270 For Drunken Driving Assault
Three sisters and a neighbor girl were hurt when J T Andrews drove a truck into them near Sandy Hook Washington County. Andrews, a Cumberland Roads employee, was fined 270 for DUI and reckless driving and jailed on assault charges after the arrest and arraignment.
