Flowers With Care gives teens a second chance through floristry
New York based Flowers With Care, started in 1974 by Father James R. Harvey, rehabs first offenders by apprenticing them to 23 area florists. The nine month program provides GED prep, job training, and a path back into work, with about 60 of 110 participants still employed in the florist trade.
