Frederick County recognizes Jonathan Willis of Ball Road Frederick as one of 141 national Presidential Scholars. Willis, Maryland's lone Frederick High recipient, accepted the medallion from Education Secretary Richard Riley on the White House South Lawn, backed by his 1570 SAT score and strong leadership and community involvement.
