Carroll County Commissioners oppose a tractor pulling course on a 1u acre Meador Branch Road site due to potential runway extension conflicts. Public works director John Sterling says the runway would cut through Miller Jr.’s property, prompting a conditional use and variance hearing. Opponents warn of noise dust traffic and crime, while Miller notes past voluntary work at the Westminster agriculture center and plans for a spring to fall operation.
