Dowling Confused Yet Promoted by Goldwyn in Hollywood
Miss Constance Dowling of New York, now in Hollywood, is labeled a triple threat by Samuel Goldwyn. In her first film Up in Arms she will not sing, dance, or act, since her role is romantic lead with little action. Goldwyn says the public will discover her organically as Dinah Shore sings, Danny Kaye dances, and Dana Andrews flirts. Dowling remains unsure yet hopeful.
