Carroll Safety Breakfast Honors Retiring Bus Drivers in Carroll County
The 1976 Safety Breakfast by Carroll County Board of Education honored retiring drivers Nathan C Butler and William Stambaugh Keyvmat for 40 and 19 years of service. The event highlighted a 50 percent drop in accidents as 180 buses logged 2,452,630 miles with 14 incidents. Dr Obn L Adams Jr addressed attendees and praised staff. Leister Greene and Diane Clarke introduced speakers with David M Warner hosting. The principal speaker was H Arnold Perkins, a former Western Electric executive. Barbara McAllister, daughter of Carroll WeAllister, achieved perfect attendance at Valley Elementary School.
