Lions Plan July 4 Motorcycle Races in Frederick

The Frederick Lions Club, meeting at the Francis Scott Key Hotel, solidified plans for July 4 motorcycle races and watched a film Washington At Work. Races proceed rain or shine unless the course is unfit at 7 pm with no rain date.

Acquittal in $5,519 Brightwood Bank Robbery Case

Joseph L. Fuller, 25, of Sther Spring Maryland, was acquitted at Federal District Court on a robbery charge connected to the September Brightwood Bank of Commerce heist. Co defendant Charles Watts, 41, is not yet tried and is serving Maryland robbery time. The judge also found Fuller not guilty by reason of insanity as an accessory after the fact.
