Bass Season Opens Amid Auto Ban and War Restrictions
Frederick County anglers begin bass crappie and sunfish season as auto travel bans curb fishing trips. OPA officials clarify essential fishing rules while Potomac and Monocacy reports show mixed conditions. Licenses drop due to wartime mobilization and reciprocity permits extend fishing to Virginians and West Virginians without non resident fees. Brunswick clerk notes no limit on sunfish size and two hook rule for two rods remains in effect.
