A New York Mystery: Warner Found Dead in Udth Street
Abraham R. Warner, manager and treasurer of A. B. Warner & Son Co., was found dead on Udth Street between 9th and 10th avenues in New York. A passerby saw a coach stop and several men remove the body before leaving quickly. No violence appeared. the coroner ruled Bright's disease caused death, not murder. Brave Washington Mother Rescues Child on Damaged Lynchburg Train
A south bound Virginia Midland express failed brakes and wrecked on the James River bridge at Lynchburg. Two sleeping cars plunged into ten feet of water but all aboard were saved. Mrs J Farden, wife of a clerk in the sixth auditor's office, saved her two month old child and others were rescued with help from Conductor William King and others.
