Dramatic Entertainment at City Hall Delights Local Audience

The cross of St John’s was admirably rendered by home young men with a good crowd in attendance. The cast included Bai Shazar Merx Brenner Bonaventure and many others. the program listed overture Burck’s Orchestra and the play’s scenes. The evening ended with the farce How to Pay the Rent and costumes were supplied by A T Jones. Paul Brenner painted the church scene.

Liberty dance at Black Castle hosted by local youths

A lively gathering last month at Mr Thos McCaffrey’s home in Liberty drew about seventy attendees from nearby counties. Music from Williams orchestra accompanied an eight to midnight dance followed by a late repast and continued until four in the morning.

Great Tie Up Persists in New York and Rail Strife
