Armored truck crashes into cornfield near Frederick
An armored truck from AT Systems based in Wilmington toppled into a cornfield along rural Biggs Ford Road near US 15 in Frederick County at 12 40 pm. The two guards were freed after rescue work, treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital and released. The driver Glance S Mehin 21 of Baltimore and guard Joseph Johnson TL 32 were identified. the amount of cash on board was undisclosed. The truck was en route from Hagerstown when the accident occurred and no immediate cause was released.
