City Engineer W R Walter released 1957 year totals for Frederick and five Maryland cities from Federal Reserve data. Frederick posted 134,095 in December but 2,018,270 for all of 1957, with Hagerstown leading the year. Cumberland, Salisbury, and Baltimore trailed, while Frederick climbed 19 places on the December list from 1956.
