A head on collision between a car and a truck near Jug Bridge caused extensive vehicle damage with slight injury to Victor Gordon. Gordon, 46, of Bathmore, suffered a chest contusion and was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital and released. George Washington Fawley, 42, of Lovellsville, operated the truck. Gordon was charged with passing when the way ahead was not clear.
