Maryland youths face jail terms in theft and auto cases
James Baker 24 of Old Braddock was sentenced to one year in the Maryland House of Correction after stealing a watch from his bed ridden mother. Charles Stallings and Mills faced short jail terms for milk snatching and petty theft. Charles Riggles received three concurrent sentences for unauthorized auto use larceny and related acts. A magistrate weighed leniency for a young soldier discharged from the Army without honor. Other minor dispositions included notices on assault charges withdrawn and fines unpaid.
