Montgomery Growth Maps Point Toward Frederick County and City
Montgomery growth maps released by the Washington Suburban Commission outline a 10 year plan linking Montgomery County water and sewer facilities to potential development. The plan shows areas likely served by major facilities and areas with little or no planned service. Final approval rests with the Maryland State Health Department after county actions and public hearings through 1969 into 1970. Fortunes point to Frederick City and Frederick County as likely growth targets.
