County Man Killed In Rainy U S 15 Crash Near Emmitsburg
A 52 year old Cecil County man, Cecil Joseph Krietz of Thurmont, died from head and internal injuries after his car rammed by a tractor trailer on U S 15 near the Mt Manor Motel in rainy fog. The truck was driven by Daniel A. Duvall of New Windsor who was uninjured. The victim's brother, Francis Edward Krietz, 47, was slightly injured. Traffic was halted briefly. Emmitsburg VFW and Vigilant Hose responded. Police noted several noninjury fender benders due to the weather.
