New Market District Firemen Hold Annual Banquet
The New Market District Volunteer Fire Company held its annual banquet January 22 at the Hyattstown Fire Hall with about 200 in attendance. Officers for the coming year were installed, including Charles R. Clineon as president and Charles Stombaugh as financial secretary. Highlights cited include a 58 896.71 income against 41 445.01 expenses, 112 alarms last year, and top responders Hiram Kipe Jerry Shanks Thomas Kipe Gary White.
