The SRC indicated the January 16 meeting was postponed and promised a prompt re scheduling with adequate notice of the time and place for the hearing. Officials said a new meeting date would be announced when determined.
Frederick City proposed February 11 for a public hearing on the by pass plans with Mayor Donald B. Rice noting SRC uncertainty. Earlier dates were scrapped due to SRC prep time and weather delays, as residents push for better information and challenge the route through the northwest residential area.

Final plans outlined for this evening’s Mothers March for Polio fund led by Mrs. R.R. Lessis. The Soroptimist and Zonta chapters plus others sponsor the event with civic groups coordinating routes from North End and South End Civic Associations.
