Parents oppose proposed Frederick County school cuts
About 75 residents asked the Frederick County school board to retain programs in the 1994 97 budget worth 1.8 million, arguing cuts would harm disabled students and enrichment programs. If funding falls short, the superintendent would raise class sizes and trim non instructional staff while cutting ninth grade sports and other programs.
