Two Winchester women convicted of planned assault in Myersville case
Jenny Bartgis 27 and Carolyn Fogle 28 were convicted by District Court Judge William Wenner of deliberately planning an assault on Gary Sawyer at the September 18 1979 bingo event outside the Myersville Fire Hall. Sawyer was acquitted of assault. Cross-charges involving Bollinger and Sawyer were resolved. Eight witnesses testified. Bartgis and Fogle used a black jack. Sentencing investigations were ordered.
