PSC extends Chesapeake and Potomac rates with tweaks
Baltimore AP The state Public Service Commission kept Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone’s rate structure but ordered a 15 percent or 28.6 dollar reduction in rates, halted charges for Touch Tone service, and extended the incentive regulatory structure for three more years. C&P criticized the ruling as harming investment incentives while noting potential appeal. The average monthly bill should fall about 39 cents from 16.15 dollars.
