Clarifies Status Of New School Sewage Disposal
Dr. James A. Sensenbaugh announces the plan to resolve the disposal issue for the new Singapore junior senior high school. Tests on seepage beds on Central property and Col. Drake’s land proved unsatisfactory, leading to a temporary abandonment of sand filter and pipeline options. The district’s review with health officials and engineers considered soil and creek flow, with further drilling at Harry Glison’s farm site showing encouraging seepage results pending better weather.
