All American To Drop City From Pattern
All American Airlines seeks a March hearing with the CAA to drop Frederick from its flight pattern along with Cumberland Easton Martinsburg West Virginia and Connellsville Uniontown Pennsylvania. Frederick is not now a stop but is under consideration. The city was previously dropped due to poor air mail and patronage. The mayor and Chamber of Commerce are investigating to prove sufficient local demand to stay in the pattern. Hood College and Camp Detrick have been contacted for future need, with a final report due in a few days. If no business potential is found the matter will be dropped.
