Michael Allen Rice a 17 year old from 19 East Main Street Thurmont lost control on a curve at an icy intersection on Maryland Route 806. The car skidded across the road struck snowbanks a rail fence and overturned in a field. Rice was partially ejected and pronounced dead at the scene by Thurmont Community Ambulance officials.
