Crash Kills Two Maryland State Troopers
Federal investigators probe a helicopter crash near Baltimore that killed two Frederick troopers Tegory May and Carey Poetzman. Weather and fog contributed as the Bell Jet Ranger went down about 4 a.m. en route from a Medevac task. Poetzman was the first female trooper to die in the line of duty. The crash occurred in Gwynns Falls Park, wreckage moved to a hangar for closer inspection, with NTSB and state police examining the scene. May, 31, served since 1977. Poetzman, 28, had six years in the force.

Mack Trucks faces 2200 job cuts at Hagerstown plant
