Plan to repair Cedarhurst rail line endorsed by leaders
Frederick County economic leaders backed a plan to divert about 350000 from a Graceham rail project to repair the Cedarhurst line connecting Westminster to Baltimore. The proposal, supported by the Econome and Community Development Commission, aims to restore freight service and extend the Maryland Midland Railroad to a complete Baltimore corridor, despite opposition from State Transportation Secretary Bridwell.
