Recording By Photostat Proposed In Frederick County
The Frederick County Bar Association at its luncheon recommended to the Circuit Court and the State Comptroller that photostat recording of legal instruments be instituted in the Clerk of the Circuit Court office. If approved, space would be provided in the courthouse for a large photostatic machine, speeding recording of deeds mortgages and contracts. Funds would come from excess clerk’s fees, with no county cost, and copies would be bound similarly to existing volumes. The association praised Clerk Wachter and staff and plans an annual banquet in February with Thomas S. Glass admitted to membership.
