Dairy science specialist returns to Frederick County
Stan Fultz was named the new dairy science specialist for the Frederick County Cooperative Extension Service effective January 1, succeeding retiree Ken Wisner. A Pennsylvania native, Fultz has worked as a dairy agent in Carroll County and a four-county Oregon dairy specialist, focusing on management, forage quality, and environmental concerns. He plans farm visits, advisory dairy producer committees, and farmer discussion groups to tailor Extension services to about 350 local farms while reconnecting with Maryland.
