Witting found innocent of murder in I-70 stabbing
Jurors acquitted Thomas G Witting of fel ony murder and robbery with a deadly weapon in the July 6 1984 I-70 stabbing death of Charles B Walton. He was convicted of theft over 300 and faces up to 15 years. A pre sentence investigation was ordered.
