MontCo approves Class A license for Clarksburg Grocery

The Montgomery County Liquor Board granted a Class A liquor license to Clarksburg Grocery Store on Md 355, pending off street parking. Owner Saul Rudden offered a three-quarter acre lot behind the store for parking with a driveway large enough for trucks. Area residents raised safety and traffic concerns near Clarksburg Elementary School. The decision marks the third wet-district license in Clarksburg since last November, with hours and Sunday restrictions debated.
