The body of E C Gregor a Missouri and North Arkansas striker was found hanging from a bridge near the railroad yards at Harrison Ark according to the Harrison correspondent of the Arkansas Democrat. Gregor is said to have opened fire on officers and citizens who searched his home yesterday according to a telegram to the Arkansas Democrat. Harrison says he was called before the vigilance committee last night and defied them vowing that a day of reckoning would come. Several hundred armed citizens who began house cleaning yesterday were still walking about this morning searching for strikers they were grilling before a committee. The correspondent says a prominent Harrison capitalist was publicly stopped and taken before the vigilance committee then said to have signed the bond of AL Stephens, accused of the bridge burning.
