New bank directors elected in Leesburg after annual meetings
In Leesburg Virginia Loudoun County banks elected new board members. Walter T. Skallerup Jr. of McLean and Upperville and Roland T. Legard of Hillsboro joined the Peoples National Bank of Leesburg board. Ten directors were reappointed following the death of J. Lynn Cornwell Sr. At Round Hill National Bank a bronze plaque honored D H Thompson for 49 years of service. In Purcellville a new director from Purcellville National Bank was chosen to fill a vacancy caused by Teresina State. All were elected as part of the bank’s ongoing leadership updates.
