Hagerstown Moves to Decide Light Plant Expansion
Hagerstown citizens will vote in April on extending the municipal electric plant to meet future needs. Mayor Burhans cites a 3.2 million bond for expansion and another 242 million by 1960, with the option to purchase power from Potomac Edison. A second vote may fund an overpass and water sewer upgrades, with tax impact explained by City Auditor Baker.
