Wreck on I-70 Leaves Two Critically Hurt
Two drivers were critically injured in a Wednesday 6:45 p.m. crash on I-70 at Hollow Road overpass. Father Stanley Klores, 29, and Carl Bateman Jr., 43, were pinned and trapped in burning vehicles before firefighters freed them. Both were admitted to Frederick Memorial Hospital ICU. Police say Klores slept at the wheel. Bateman’s car was struck by a tractor trailer driven by Ernest Shirley, 47. The westbound lanes were backed up for over an hour as responders attended the scene.

CAA Seeks Grant to Train 32 Underprivileged for Jobs
