Revenue up in Maryland motor fuels tax in December
ANNAPOLIS Md AP Revenue from the state motor vehicle fuel tax rose 7 per cent in December 1959 over December 1958, with net receipts at 4 192 429. Comptroller Louis Goldstein said 181 096 was refunded to taxpayers. Six month totals show a 5 7 per cent rise to 27 111 392 compared with 25 637 199 a year earlier.
