Suits Against Yinger Settled Over Frederick Homes
Two lawsuits over Frederick livability code were settled. Peggy Webber and Lillie Baugher, tenants, sought rent repayment and 5000 in compensation plus 5000 in punitive damages from landlord David Yinger Jr. at Old Frederick Inc. The city condemned the two houses for heating plumbing wiring and construction flaws. Yinger agrees to repair to livable condition by end of next week and tenants will move back in.
