A party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Scheel near Lower Corner on December 31. Josiah Flohr sold his home about two miles northwest of Thurtaunt to Chas H Walbeck of York Pa. Walbeck will take possession around April 1, with the transfer recorded as part of the local property sale notices.
