Propane Demand Eases as Cold Weather Persists
Local propane providers report steady demand with several customers per hour taking deferment offers. No supply shortages are seen, and natural gas markets mirror the trend. January and February are expected to stay as cold as December, keeping crews busy through winter. In Frederick, snow-free weekends and modest warmth may ease heater usage. Weather forecasts show cloudy today near 50, cooler Friday, and a mix of sun and showers through Monday with overnight lows in the mid to upper 20s.
