Habitat homes near ready on Ice Street in Frederick
Two three bedroom houses on Ice Street near completion will become homes for two Frederick families later this month. Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, sponsored by Humphries Corp of Silver Spring, has donated 10000 dollars cash and about 15000 dollars in services. Families will receive a no interest loan paid over 20 years with sweat equity. The site was formerly the Free Colored Men's Library, a demolition approved with a plaque to honor the site.
