Williams Street residents push plan to fix flood damaged road
Williams Street residents urge the Walkersville town council to study and fund a solution to road damage from persistent groundwater. Former commissioner Edward Kerns Jr. says drainage water and high water tables flood basements and undermine the surface, requiring a costly engineering study for action at the Jan. 22 meeting. The panel also drops 1997 summer recreation funding and bans snowmobiling at Heritage Farm Park.
