Civil War museum receives grants for relocation funds
The National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick will host Richard Roche as Confederate Gen. John McCausland on January 10 and Brenda Spillane as Phoebe Pember on January 9. The museum moves in April 1999 to a temporary site at 100 Adventist Drive due to East Patrick Street renovation, with $15,000 total grants from the Community Foundation of Frederick County and the G Frank Thomas Foundation to cover relocation costs.
