French Troubadours to Perform at Governor Thomas Johnson High
Frederick Community Concert Association presents Varel and Bailly Chanteurs de Paris in A Festival of Musical Merriment at 8 15 p.m. Saturday in the high school auditorium. The seven French entertainers, led by a composer-pianist, blend humor, stage effects, and refined singing. The duo, highly acclaimed in the U S and Europe, have written over 250 songs for themselves and others. The program celebrates lyric romance and joy with colorful costumes and coordinating props. Members are asked to be seated by 8 p m for prompt seating by reciprocal association guests.
