Relocation of Carter Street House to East Second Street
The old two story frame house on Carter Street will be moved to 242 East Second Street near the Wolf Bros. cigar plant. Ignatius Kennedy granted a permit to move the structure, with Breck and a Half William E. Cookeriy handling the move. The project involves clearing the Carter Street site for the Bow ers Lumber Co. rage, and the move will preserve two large chimneys and a fireplace. A second permit for a new one story brick dwelling and brick savage at 502 Magnolia Avenue was issued to R. E Hitselberger with an estimated cost of 7000 dollars.
