Gas Explosions Kill Three in Madison Wisconsin
Three simultaneous gas explosions in Madison Wis sent shock waves through the city killing William McGrath 63 and his wife 53 and injuring or displacing dozens. The McGrath home near Capitol Square was destroyed with nearby businesses damaged and residents displaced. Fire destroyed smaller structures and a drug store reported significant loss as crews battled the blaze.
