Roads To Be Started In 1954 Outlined
The Maryland State Roads Commission outlined a 78 million dollar 1954 construction plan, part of a 12 year 568 million highway overhaul. It includes 114 projects with 192 miles of new roads and major overhauls, with many works to be open by year end and others to be finished in 1955. The plan also covers right of way and surveying budgets and bids already placed on several projects.
