Regulations To Cover Motor Vehicle Sales
The Frederick War Price and Rationing Board announced wartime rules governing ownership transfers of motor vehicles. Transferors must deliver duplicate receipts from the local war price and rationing board on form OPA R-569 to transferees. Purchasers in 1943 or later must present the original OPA R-569 receipt to obtain vehicle registration from the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, along with additional gas rationing requirements.
