In Pittsburgh Pennsylvania January robbers demanded $25000 from Lawrence A Sands president of the First National Bank. They forced Sands and his chauffeur into the home on Squirrel Hill. John W Sands wounded by a shot in the side while escaping as assailants fled in a car. His condition described as not serious.
